Picking Fabrics: Part 1 of the 2010 Quilt Along
Welcome to Ava Landen’s 2010 Quilt Along! This is the first video in the series. As you’ll see in the video. I’m simply picking 18 random printed fabrics from my stash. The size of each strip is 2.5 inches wide by 44/45in long. You’ll also need additional strips made from your background fabric. I’m solid white fabric to provide unity, but any solid color would work. Also, if you want a scrapper look, just pick out 18 light fabric strips and 18 dark fabric strips — 36 total.
